Jet Airways (JAI, Mumbai International) has again deferred deliveries of its incoming fleet of ten B787-9s airline sources have told India's Business Standard newspaper.

The aircraft, whose delivery were last year deferred from 2016 to the last quarter of 2017, are now only likely to begin in 2019, the sources said.

For its part, a Jet Airways spokesman has said the carrier is currently preoccupied with the return of six B777-300(ER)s that were leased out to equity partner Etihad Airways (EY, Abu Dhabi International). Once their induction has been taken care of, only then will a review of airline's current widebody needs be undertaken.
