Thai Airways International (TG, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) has taken delivery of its first A350-900 following the recent arrival of HS-THB (cn 44) in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. The carrier is expecting a total of twelve of the type of which four are direct orders from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) with the remainder on lease.
In September, this particular aircraft, on lease from CIT Aerospace, will be deployed on crew training flights from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Chiang Mai and Phuket initially before making its international debut with Melbourne Tullamarine services.
