LATAM Airlines Group has taken delivery of its first A320neo following the handing over of PT-TMN (cn 7126) to its LATAM Airlines Brasil (JJ, São Paulo Congonhas) unit on Monday, August 29.

The twinjet is the first of twenty-two the South American conglomerate will take delivery of from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac).

As previously reported, the A320neo will initially be used on domestic Brazilian flights serving destinations including Brasília Juscelino Kubitschek International, Belo Horizonte Tancredo Neves, Campo Grande International, Curitiba International, Florianopolis, Porto Alegre International, Recife, Rio de Janeiro International, and São Paulo Guarulhos. In November, it will commence flights on regional routes in South America.
