Shree Airlines (N9, Kathmandu) is planning to venture into the fixed-wing aviation sector Aviation Nepal news has reported.

One of the Himalayan kingdom's largest helicopter operators, Shree is reportedly planning to acquire three CRJ200s and three E145s for passenger operations.

Once in service, Shree will become Embraer's first Nepalese customer. According to the ch-aviation fleets database, the only known operator of Bombardier Aerospace equipment in Nepal is Saurya Airlines (Kathmandu) with a single CRJ200ER - 9N-ALE (cn 7493).

Shree currently operates Eurocopter AS350B3es and Mil Helicopters on passenger charter, medevac, and religious tourism flights.
