Sun-Air (EZ, Billund) has confirmed the first batch of destinations it will serve from its recently established Bremen Hans Koschnick, Germany base.

In a statement, the British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) franchise operator said effective October 31, it would operate a twice-weekly (weekdays only) return service to each of London City and Manchester International (inclusive of a singular Saturday flight). Operations are on-board a combination of Do328-100 and Do328-300 equipment.

"The market in and around Bremen is similar in many ways to Jutland and with that, demand for direct routes is strong particularly in the business sector," Sun-Air's commercial director, Kristian Tvergaard, said. "We have already received positive feedback from both the German and British business communities about our new routes. We greatly appreciate the close cooperation we have had with Bremen Airport in connection with getting the new routes on their feet, and we look forward to continuing the good cooperation."
