Mokulele Airlines (MHO, Kona) has terminated scheduled services to Kapolei as of September 6 following sustained losses.

Up until the station's closure, the Hawaiian island-hopper specialist had offered four daily return flights from Kalaeloa to Kahului using Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan 208Bs.

Although the airfield no longer enjoys scheduled commercial services, it is still active with the US Coast Guard, the Hawaii Community College Flight Program, the Hawaii National Guard, and the general aviation community at large.
