Rectrix Aviation (Bedford, MA) has announced it will begin scheduled passenger operations on Thursday, October 20 with multiple daily return shuttles between Hyannis and Nantucket. Operations are on-board Beech (twin turboprop) Super King Air 350is.

“We are thrilled passengers traveling between Hyannis and Nantucket will have another option for travel between the two airports," Barnstable Municipal Airport Manager Bud Breault, said. "The service has always proved to be very popular for summer tourism on Cape Cod as well as Nantucket but also for those working on and living on the island.”

Prior to this event, Rectrix Aviation had focused primarily on the ad-hoc passenger charter market using a fleet of five Learjet 45s and two Bombardier Challenger 300s.
