Germania (Berlin Schönefeld) is planning to begin scheduled passenger operations from an undisclosed city in the Netherlands next year.

Mario Escobedo-Peruga, the Sales Manager at Inter GSA Benelux, told Dutch aviation news portal Zakenreisnieuws that although the move was confirmed, the actual city in question had not yet been revealed.

A significant number of passengers residing in the eastern Netherlands already use Germania flights to Turkey, Morocco, and Spain that operate out of the west German airports of Düsseldorf and Münster/Osnabrück.

Germania's operations currently focus on connecting select German cities (and in the case of its Germania Flug (Zurich) unit, Swiss cities) with leisure destinations around Scandinavia, the Baltics, Southern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Germania also has aircraft based at London Gatwick, Manchester International, Norwich International and Toulouse Blagnac.
