airBaltic (BT, Riga) has once more revised its A220-300 delivery timetable with the first aircraft of the type, for the airline and in the world, to now arrive on December 1.

As the type's launch operator, the Latvian carrier will then deploy YL-CSA (cn 55003) into revenue service from December 14 onwards. Its maiden flight will be BT619 Riga-Amsterdam Schiphol. This will be followed by flights to each of Munich and Tallinn Lennart Meri on December 15, Stockholm Arlanda on December 16, Helsinki Vantaa on December 17, Vilnius on December 18, Vienna on December 29, and Barcelona El Prat on December 31.

On January 6, the twinjet will make its Paris CDG and London Gatwick debut followed by Frankfurt International on January 9.

The Latvian carrier has twenty of the type on firm order from Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau).
