LATAM Airlines Group says Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) has cleared the planned sale of a 10% stake to Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad International), valued at USD613 million.
The Panamerican conglomerate said in a statement that it will now proceed with a proposed capital increase which will facilitate the Qatari carrier's entry into its shareholding.
LATAM Airlines Group shareholders all voted in favour of the share capital increase in August.
