Iran Aseman Airlines (EP, Tehran Mehrabad) is set to acquire seven Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) aircraft following the recent signing of a purchase agreement Iran's Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Ali Rabiei, has said.

The semi-official ISNA news agency quotes Rabiei as stating the aircraft will be delivered from May of next year onwards. The type and supplier were not specified.

Iran Aseman operates three A320-200s, one A340-300, four ATR72-200s, two ATR72-500s, three B727-200s, one B727-200(F), two B737-400s, and nineteen Fokker 100s on scheduled domestic and international flights.
