IranAir (IR, Tehran Mehrabad) has outlined its proposed A321-200 (sl) operations following the arrival of its maiden aircraft of the type, EP-IFA (msn 7418), from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) last week.

According to Airline Route, effective January 21, the twin-jet will be gradually deployed on scheduled flights from Tehran Mehrabad to each of Abadan, Ahwaz, Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, Kermanshah, Mashad, Tabriz, and Zahedan.

As recently reported, Iran Air has penned agreements for a total of eight A321s, as well as sixteen A350-1000s, twenty-eight A330-900s, eight A330-200s, thirty-two A320neos, and six A320-200 (sl)s.
