British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) has announced it will begin flights from Dublin International, Ireland, to Ibiza, in the Spanish Balearic Islands, later this summer season.

Using its BA CityFlyer (CJ, London City) subsidiary, British Airways will offer weekly flights to the resort island using E190 equipment. The service will start on May 19 and end on September 29.

Fellow IAG International Airlines Group member Aer Lingus (EI, Dublin International) last ran the route in February 2016 only to abandon it citing insufficient demand.
