Tunisair (TU, Tunis) has begun gradually resuming flights following a brief suspension on Thursday, March 9.

Flightradar24 ADS-B data indicates several flights have now resumed after management chose to cancel all services in the morning. The decision came in the wake of a physical altercation between flight- and ground-crew prior to the departure of a Tunisair flight from Tunis to Paris CDG on Thursday.

According to local news sources, police were dispatched to Tunis Carthage International Airport to quell the situation which came after weeks of simmering tensions between the two groups and their respective unions.

The ground crew union UGTT had singled out the pilot corps in particular for the "way they are treated by pilots."

Minister of Transport Anis Ghedira has since ordered a Crisis Committee to be convened to resolve all outstanding issues.
