Nordica (ND, Tallinn Lennart Meri) will make its Russian market debut during the second quarter of the year with a 13x weekly Tallinn Lennart Meri-St. Petersburg service. According to a Pulkovo Airport press release, the route will start on May 15 and will operate onboard CRJ900 equipment.

“This route is certainly long-awaited for both business and holiday travelers,” Nordica’s Chief Commercial Officer Kristel Penu said. “The flights also open up transit opportunities for flying from St. Petersburg to our other destinations via Tallinn like Munich, Kyiv Boryspil, Oslo Gardermoen, Stockholm Arlanda, Vilnius, Brussels National, Nice, Vienna, Berlin Tegel, Hamburg Helmut Schmidt, Amsterdam Schiphol, Split, Rijeka, Trondheim, Odesa and others."

The last scheduled flights between St. Petersburg and Tallinn were operated during autumn 2015 by the now defunct Estonian Air (Tallinn Lennart Meri) and while Nordica is the first to resume them since then, it will be joined by RusLine (7R, Moscow Vnukovo) on May 22.
