Loganair (LM, Glasgow International) has confirmed it will resume regular flights from Edinburgh to Isle of Man with effect from May 26.

According to the Isle of Man Examiner, the route will operate 4x weekly replacing a similar service run, until recently, by the now defunct Citywing (Isle of Man).

"We’re thrilled to be returning to the Isle of Man after an absence of nearly four years," Jonathan Hinkles, Loganair’s managing director, said. "Our new Edinburgh service will provide much-needed weekend flights between Scotland and the island."

Following Citywings's collapse earlier this month, Eastern Airways (T3, Humberside) stepped in to operate several of its routes from the Isle of Man including Belfast City, Glasgow International, and Newcastle, GB.
