Thai Smile (Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) is set to resume Bangkok Suvarnabhumi-Kuala Lumpur International, Malaysia flights later next month using parent carrier Thai Airways International' route authorities.

According to Airline Route, Thai Smile's daily service will commence on May 25 and operate using Thai Airways International TG-coded flight numbers.

Until this development, Thai Airways Int'l had curbed the use of its boutique subsidiary to operate flights on highly competitive routes following objections from neighboring states such as Cambodia and Laos. Following outcries in 2014 and 2015, Thai Smile was forced to secure its own Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) and own IATA code "WE".
