Philippine Airlines (PR, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) will begin scheduled international operations out of Panglao, Bohol, later this summer season.

Tagbilaran Airport is an airport serving the general area of Tagbilaran, the capital city of the province of Bohol in the Philippines. Governor Edgar Chatto told The Bohol Chronicle daily flights to Seoul Incheon would begin June 23 using A320-200 equipment.

Located in the near centre of the Philippines archipelago, Bohol's picturesque beaches and upmarket resorts are a popular tourist drawcard.

As such, the service launch is aimed at increasing the number of Korean tourists visiting Bohol as at present, its connectivity is limited to flights to Manila Ninoy Aquino International (served by PAL through PAL Express, Philippines AirAsia, and Cebu Pacific Air), Cagayan de Oro Laguindingan (operated by Cebgo), and Angeles City Clark International (operated by served by PAL through PAL Express).
