Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport has reopened to all traffic following the completion of runway resurfacing works. Local media reports indicate the first carrier to use the facility was Ethiopian Airlines (ET, Addis Ababa International) on Tuesday, April 18.

Other foreign operators set to resume flights to the Nigerian capital include Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International), due from April 20. Local operators Dana Air, Med-View Airline, and Air Peace are due to start flights from April 19 onwards.
