The airport serving the southwestern Ukrainian city of Krivyi Rih will again see commercial passenger flights after Anda Air (SSV, Kyiv Igor Sikorsky) announced the launch of a weekly return service to Batumi, Georgia.

Georgia's Agenda newspaper reports the route will operate onboard the Ukrainian charter specialist's MD-83 aircraft, a second and third of which are due later this year. The flights will run from June 21 until August 30.

Fellow charter operator Bravo Airways (Ukraine) (BAY, Kyiv Boryspil) will also conduct seasonal charters from Kriyvi Rih to each of Antalya, Burgas, Hurghada, and Sharm el Sheikh this summer season.
