Aer Southeast (Waterford) is an Irish virtual carrier set to commence operations out of the southeastern town of Waterford later next month.

Using a Saab 340, wet-leased from Slovenian regional operator Lipican Aer (8I, Portoroz) and based out of Waterford, Aer Southeast will offer 6x weekly flights to London Luton, 3x weekly flights to Manchester International, and a 3x weekly service to Birmingham, GB from July 24 onwards.

The carrier is run by SkyTruckers Ltd., a firm which claims to have "very considerable experience in regional aviation and the backing of Irish and Scandinavian investors."
