Philippine Airlines (PR, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) has taken delivery of the world’s first dual-class, 86-seater Q400/Dash 8-400. RP-C5901 (msn 4561) was positioned to Manila Ninoy Aquino International from Toronto Downsview this past weekend and is the first of twelve such turboprops ordered by the Filipino carrier from Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau).

According to a statement, RP-C5901 will be deployed into domestic service with PAL Express (2P, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) in the next two weeks.

PAL Express also operates five 76-seater Q400s, four Dash 8-300s, eleven A320-200s, and three A321-200s on scheduled passenger flights throughout the Philippines as well as to the Northern Mariana Islands and South Korea.
