IAG International Airlines Group has announced it has firmed up three A330-200s options with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for its recently launched low-cost, longhaul venture, LEVEL (Barcelona El Prat).
In a statement, IAG said the aircraft would arrive in September 2018.
LEVEL currently operates as a virtual carrier chartering two A330-200s from sister carrier Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas). LEVEL will eventually transition into a full certificated carrier IAG CEO WIlly Walsh confirmed earlier this year.
LEVEL currently serves Punta Cana, Oakland International, Los Angeles International, and Buenos Aires Ministro Pistarini from its Barcelona El Prat base.
