WestJet (WS, Calgary) has outlined its proposed B737-8 operational timetable with its maiden flight with the type scheduled for November 9.

According to schedule data at hand, the type's first scheduled passenger services will entail flights from Calgary to Vancouver International and Toronto Pearson. Thereafter, with the arrival of additional aircraft, so the MAX 8 will be deployed on flights from Toronto to Las Vegas Harry Reid (from March 9, 2018), from Calgary to Palm Springs International (from April 12, 2018), and from Toronto to Edmonton International (from April 14, 2018).

WestJet has a total of twenty-three B737 MAX 8s on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) alongside twenty B737 MAX 7s and seven B737-9s. This year alone, it is expecting four MAX 8s followed by four more next year. The MAX 8s will be configured with 180 seats.
