SundAir (SR, Berlin Brandenburg International) has taken delivery of its maiden A320-200 following the arrival of PR-MYO (msn 4974) at Berlin Schönefeld from Abu Dhabi International last week. Skyliner Aviation reports the twinjet, which will be followed by msn 4953 later this quarter, has been added to the German register as D-ASEF.
Though active since early April, the German leisure operator has been plying its services as a virtual carrier chartering in capacity from a variety of third-party carriers.
As such, the delivery of PR-MYO is expected to see SundAir complete its certification and thus begin offering flight services under its own AOC.
