Azimuth (A4, Rostov Platov) has announced it will commence scheduled passenger operations on Thursday, September 21, with flights from Rostov Platov to Moscow Vnukovo and from Moscow to Omsk. Operations are onboard SSJ 100/95 equipment.

Other destinations that are slated to roll out in the coming months include Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Samara Kurumoch, and Ekaterinburg. By the end of the year, Azimuth expects to begin operations from the new Platov International Airport, located near Rostov on Don.

Azimuth secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) last month.
