KLM cityhopper (WA, Amsterdam Schiphol) has reaffirmed it will conclude all commercial Fokker 70 operations with effect from October 28, 2017.

The KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL, Amsterdam Schiphol) unit said in a statement the type's last scheduled passenger flight - KL1070 London Heathrow-Amsterdam Schiphol - would arrive at 2030L. The withdrawal of the last remaining Fokker Aircraft in KLM's fleet will mark the transition of cityhopper to an all-Embraer fleet consisting of ten E175s and thirty E190s.

The ch-aviation aircraft database shows KLM has, over the years, operated a total of nine Fokker 50s, sixteen Fokker 100s, and twenty-four Fokker 70s (of which seven currently remain in service).
