Wisdom Airways (Chiang Mai) is a planned new Thai domestic carrier looking to operate inter-provincial flights from Chiang Mai. According to The Bangkok Post, the start-up will commence operations on December 1 of this year serving each of Pai, Nan Nakhon, and Chiang Rai. Operations are onboard a pair of Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan 208Bs leased from the United States.

CEO Picharn Kwangchuchai added that in the second year of operations, Wisdom Airways will add a maiden DHC-6 to foster further growth.

Picharn denied any links to the defunct carrier Kan Air (KND, Chiang Mai) despite operating similar routes to that airline as well as employing several former Kan Air flightcrews.
