Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has announced it has placed a B747-400(F) with DHL Global Forwarding, the world’s largest airfreight forwarding company and a division of the Deutsche Post DHL Group.
The aircraft will be operated by its Atlas Air (5Y, New York JFK) unit and will fly on behalf of DHL Global Forwarding through an ACMI agreement.
The new service will commence this month and will serve routes between the United States, Europe, and Asia.
