Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo) could place orders with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) and Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for narrowbody aircraft its Deputy General Director (Strategy & Alliances), Giorgio Callegari, has told Reuters.

Speaking earlier this week, Callegari said a "sizeable" order for A320neo and B737 MAX was under consideration with a decision due in 2018. Both products will likely be ordered given Aeroflot's unwillingness to be reliant on a single manufacturer.

Aeroflot currently operates seventy-seven A320-200s alongside thirty-six B737-800s.
