ASKY Airlines (KP, Lomé) has resumed scheduled passenger flights to Monrovia Spriggs Payne following a two-year hiatus triggered by the 2014 West African Ebola epidemic.
The 4x weekly service to Lomé, Togo via Accra, Ghana commenced on November 1 and is currently the Liberian capital airfield's only scheduled international flight. Operations are on-board Dash 8-400 equipment.
The bulk of Liberia's international commercial traffic is currently routed through Monrovia Roberts where its substantially longer 3,300-metre runway allows it to handle service from Air Côte d'Ivoire, Brussels Airlines, Kenya Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Royal Air Maroc.
