Volotea (V7, Barcelona El Prat) has stationed an A319-100 at its new Lyon St. Exupéry base, its sixth in France. By the second half of 2021, the airline will offer flights to 29 destinations from Lyon, representing more than 300,000 seats. This includes 12 new destinations, a capacity increase of more than 279% on 2019.
The company recently already announced the launch of a new summer route to Biarritz, as well as the opening, next September, of a link to Setif in Algeria.
From Lyon, the 29 destinations are:

- Nantes: 2x weekly since May 13;
- Ajaccio: 4x weekly since May 13;
- Figari: 4x weekly since May 15;

As previously reported, the Spanish low-cost carrier, since June 3, has stationed an A319 out of Olbia, Sardinia, from where it is offering connections to 15 domestic and four French destinations, totalling 19 new routes.
