Adria Airways (Ljubljana) has completed the phase out of its A320-200 fleet with S5-AAS (cn 444) having now been returned to its lessor. According to EX-YU Aviation News, the twinjet operated its last commercial flight on Tuesday, October 21.

As it stands, the Slovenian national carrier operates two A319-100s and six CRJ900s. Its two CRJ200s are scheduled to leave the fleet in early 2015 to be replaced with additional CRJ-900s.

Earlier this month, CEO Mark Anzur said Adria would consider leasing in aircraft that are larger than the A320 as it moves to keep up with expected future growth trends.
