Qazaq Air (Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev) has announced it has signed a contract for the purchase of two new DHC-8-400s. The Kazakh domestic specialist said in a statement the Bombardier Aerospace turboprops would both deliver during the first half of 2019.

Qazaq Air currently operates a fleet of three Q400s, all of which are on lease from Palma Holding. It currently serves eleven destinations throughout Kazakhstan.
