flydubai (FZ, Dubai International) has announced that it will resume scheduled operations from Dubai International, initially to 24 destinations in Europe, Africa, and Asia, on July 7, 2020.

The airline said that its initial network would cover services to:

"We will continuously add destinations and flight frequencies to the network, and we expect this to increase to 66 destinations over the course of the summer. This, of course, will be dependent on countries being able to open up and accept international travel," Chief Commercial Officer Hamad Obaidalla said.

However, as the airline prepares for the resumption of international flights, its existing repatriation flights to Pakistan were suspended effective June 26 due to the spike in the number of cases in Pakistan. Pakistani Saana TV has reported that Emirates (EK, Dubai International) and Etihad Airways (EY, Abu Dhabi International) have also suspended all outbound travel from Pakistan to Dubai and Abu Dhabi International, respectively, although they continue to operate flights to Pakistan with both passengers and cargo.
