Lauda Europe (LW, Malta International) is to open a base at Zadar, Croatia, from March 30, 2021, to serve destinations in Germany, Vienna, Poland, France, and Sweden on behalf of sister carrier Ryanair (FR, Dublin International), the ch-aviation schedules module reveals.

The Malta-based subsidiary of Ryanair Holdings will operate on behalf of Ryanair DAC to the following destinations from Zadar:

According to reports, Lauda Europe plans to station at least two of its 29 leased A320-200s at Zadar. This follows after plans by its predecessor LaudaMotion (Vienna) for a base at Zadar were scuppered by the COVID-19 pandemic last year. Lauda Europe has five more A320-200s on order, according to ch-aviation fleets module.
