Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo) took delivery of its first A320-200N, VP-BPQ (msn 10126), on May 14, 2021, with a further two due to arrive by month-end.

The Russian flag carrier's first A320neo is leased from CDB Aviation and was ferried from Toulouse Blagnac to Moscow Sheremetyevo on May 18. Aeroflot has yet to schedule the type's induction into revenue service.

The other two A320-200Ns and Aeroflot's first A321-200NX will also be dry-leases from CDB Aviation.

The ch-aviation fleets module indicates that Aeroflot intends to take a total of five A320-200Ns and two A321-200NXs in 2021, including the four units from CDB Aviation. It did not disclose the identity of the lessor(s) of the other three aircraft.

The Russian carrier's previous-generation narrowbody fleet comprises sixty-four A320-200s, thirty-three A321-200s, and forty-eight B737-800s. Its subsidiary Rossiya operates a further twenty A319-100s and five A320-200s under Aeroflot's code (as well as nine B737-800s on its own services), while former subsidiary Aurora operates nine A319s under Aeroflot's code.
