Volotea (V7, Barcelona El Prat) has stationed an A319-100 at its new Lyon St. Exupéry base, its sixth in France. By the second half of 2021, the airline will offer flights to 29 destinations from Lyon, representing more than 300,000 seats. This includes 12 new destinations, a capacity increase of more than 279% on 2019.
The company recently already announced the launch of a new summer route to Biarritz, as well as the opening, next September, of a link to Setif in Algeria.
From Lyon, the 29 destinations are:

- Sétif: 3x weekly from September 17.
France :
- Nantes: 2x weekly since May 13;
- Ajaccio: 4x weekly since May 13;
- Figari: 4x weekly since May 15;
- Bastia: 4x weekly since May 16;
- Biarritz: 2x weekly from July 2;
- Caen: 2x weekly from September 6;
Spain:
- Palma de Mallorca: 2x weekly since June 3;
- Alicante: 2x weekly since June 4;
- Malaga: 2x weekly since June 4;
- Valencia Manises: 2x weekly from July 2;
- Gran Canaria: 1x weekly from October 2;
- Lanzarote: 1x weekly from October 2;
- Fuerteventura: 1x weekly from October 3;
- Tenerife Sur: 1x weekly from October 3;
- Bilbao: 2x weekly from April 15, 2022.
Italy:
- Palermo International: 2x weekly from July 2;
- Bari: 2x weekly from July 5;
- Cagliari: 2x weekly from July 6;
- Olbia: 1x weekly from July 6;
- Venice Marco Polo: 4x weekly from September 6
Croatia:

- Kerkyra: 2x weekly since June 1;
- Thira Santorini: 1x weekly since June 2;
- Athens: 2x weekly since June 5;
- Irakleion: 1x weekly since June 5.
Portugal:
- Faro 2x weekly from June 28.

- Prague Václav Havel: 2x weekly from September 6.
As previously reported, the Spanish low-cost carrier, since June 3, has stationed an A319 out of Olbia, Sardinia, from where it is offering connections to 15 domestic and four French destinations, totalling 19 new routes.
