ASL Airlines France (5O, Paris CDG) has retired and sold its last B737-300(F), F-GIXC (msn 25124), as it transitions to a B737-800(BCF)-based fleet.

The 31.1-year-old jet, which previously operated under the L'Aéropostale and Europe Airpost brands, was retired from revenue service at the end of April 2021, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. It has since remained in storage at Belgrade airport. It was ferried to Paris CDG and then onwards via Reykjavik Keflavik and Bangor to Miami Opa-Locka over the course of May 19-June 2, 2022. It remains registered in France.

ASL Airlines France confirmed to Cargo Facts that it has now sold the aircraft to an undisclosed new operator. The ch-aviation fleets module shows it is due to join the fleet of AeroSucre (KRE, Barranquilla).

After the retirement of the B737-300(F), ASL Airlines France continues to operate two B737-300(QC)s, which despite their Quick Change configuration, are deployed primarily as passenger aircraft. It remains the only operator of any -300 variant in the ASL Aviation Holdings. Its B737 Classic fleet also comprises five B737-400(SF)s. ASL Airlines Ireland and ASL Airlines Belgium also operate -400 freighters.

The French airline also operates one B737-700 and four B737-800(BCF)s.
