Condor (DE, Frankfurt International) has firmed its commitment with Air Lease Corporation for two A320-200Ns and seventeen A321-200Ns to renew its narrowbody fleet which currently comprises A320ceo Family aircraft.

Deliveries are expected to begin in early 2024 and continue through mid-2027. All aircraft will come from ALC's Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) order book, which comprises five undelivered A320-200Ns and 118 A321-200N/A321-200NX (excluding long-range variants).

the German leisure carrier had earlier confirmed its choice of Airbus for its new-generation narrowbody fleet. It plans to add thirteen A320-200Ns and twenty-eight A321-200Ns via lease and direct purchases in total.

The ch-aviation fleets module shows that Condor's current narrowbody fleet comprises thirteen A320-200s (including two dry-leased from Air Lease Corporation) and ten A321-200s (three from the lessor). The A320s are 18.1 years old on average, while the A321s are 8.3 years old on average. Condor also operates thirteen B757-300s, which are 23.1 years old on average.

The airline, which was acquired by Attestor Capital after its restructuring in 2021, has already selected Airbus and the A330-900 as its future widebody type. It has 16 on order, comprising both direct purchases from Airbus and leases. Deliveries of the A330-900s are scheduled to begin shortly and complete by mid-2024, allowing Condor to retire all thirteen B767-300ERs.
