TUI Group has signed a dry lease contract with AerCap for three E195-E2s to be operated by TUI fly (Belgium) (TB, Brussels National). The aircraft, which will become the first E2s in TUI Group's fleet, will deliver between March and May 2023, and will replace its current generation fleet of Embraer aircraft.

"The airplanes will operate mostly out of Antwerp, from where they will fly to more distant airports, which will allow us to expand into new holiday destinations from Northern Belgium," Chief Airline Officer Marco Ciomperlik said.

The ch-aviation fleets module shows the Belgian carrier currently operates four E190-E2s, which are 8.8 years old on average. Two are leased from TrueNoord and one each from GECAS and Falko Regional Aircraft. They are the only regional jets in TUI Group's fleet, as all other carriers operate exclusively narrow- and widebody aircraft.

TUI fly (Belgium) also operates four B737-700s, five B737-8s, fourteen B737-800s, one B767-300ER, and two B787-8s.
