Strategic Airlines (Luxembourg) (Luxembourg) has suspended its charter operations with three A320-200s on October 3 and has entered administration. This follows the loss of a charter contract with one of its key customers, UK tour operator Olympic Holidays. Besides its charter flights for tour operators, Strategic had also regularly operated on a wet-lease basis on behalf of other European airlines. Strategic's sister carrier in Australia, Air Australia (Brisbane International), had already been forced to suspend operations earlier this year due to financial difficulties as well.
