Everts Air Alaska (5V, Fairbanks International) is about to take delivery of the first ever MD-82 converted to a freighter. The 1987 built ex-American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) aircraft registered N73444 (MSN 49470) has been converted for the Alaskan cargo carrier by Aeronautical Engineers at Miami International.
