Air Dolomiti (EN, Verona) plans to withdraw its entire fleet of 11 ATR 72-500s from use replacing them with the five new E195s it has started adding to its existing fleet of five EMB-195s. The Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) owned regional carrier has just recently taken delivery of its sixth EMB-195 I-ADJP (c/n 19000578). As part of the transition, 116 jobs are expected to be cut at Air Dolomiti. Lufthansa had already previously announced the cancellation of its wet-lease agreement with Augsburg Airways (Munich) effective October 2013 leaving it without turboprop aircraft operated by its regional carriers by then. From January 2013, Air Dolomiti will again start operating routes from Munich to Bari, Florence Peretola, Venice Marco Polo and Verona and between Frankfurt International and Verona under its own flight numbers with Lufthansa just codesharing on these routes replacing the current wet-lease agreement.
