Pinnacle Airlines (Memphis International) has been fined $275000 by the US Federal Aviation Administration for a maintenance issue in October 2010. The regional carrier had operated a total of 11 flights with a part missing in one of the two engines of one of its Canadair Regional Jets. Since Pinnacle currently operates under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, the FAA has filed a claim with its administrator.
