Air Berlin (1991) (Berlin Tegel) is planning to cut salaries of its senior management by 10% and of all remaining employees by 5% according to reports by German news magazines Der Spiegel and Focus. The proposed salary cuts are reportedly part of Air Berline's Turbine restructuring plan with which the German carrier plans to achieve approximately 400 million EUR in annual cost savings. Air Berlin had confirmed plans to cut 900 of its 9300 jobs earlier this week.
