West Atlantic (United Kingdom) (NPT, Nottingham East Midlands) ended operations with its last, and Europe's last, remaining airworthy Lockheed Electra, G-LOFC (c/n 1100), on April 27. The aircraft was ferried from Katowice Pyrzowice to Coventry after concluding its final flight to Leipzig/Halle on behalf of DHL. As it stands, the Electra has already been sold on to Buffalo Airways (J0, Yellowknife). There are still two derelict Electras parked up at Coventry.
