Asia Atlantic Airlines (Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) is set to take to the skies shortly after the delivery of its first aircraft, a B767-300(ER) HS-AAC, msn 25287, formerly with Ecuadorian carrier, AeroGal (Quito International). The 767 is currently parked at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, fully painted in the Thai start-up's livery, though no exact launch date for operations is currently known. Backed by Japanese travel firm, H.I.S, and Thai hotel operator, Baiyoke Group, Asia Atlantic claims it will initially be flying to Japan, Thailand, China, Korea, Hawaii, Guam, Indonesia and Russia, with "rapid expansion plans in the pipeline."
