DAT - Danish Air Transport (Kolding) will reportedly abandon its Copenhagen Kastrup to Sønderborg flights just four weeks after Alsie Express (Sønderborg) introduced operations on the route. According to Danish media, since Alsie Express made its debut, it has been difficult for DAT to maintain adequate seat occupancy to warrant maintaining the route. As a result, the last flight will operate on Friday, July 19. While DAT regrets the loss of the route, it claims it has other pokers in the fire, most notably in Crete where one of its aircraft will be based on an ACMI contract for an unspecified period.
