SEAir International (XO, Angeles City Clark International) is planning to acquire a fleet of small turboprop aircraft to begin flights to destinations that are generally unable to handle large commercial aircraft. According to Mr Nick Gitsis, one of the owners of the airline, a hub is planned for Puerto Princesa to serve missionary routes to Basco, Busuanga, Taytay and Cuyo. The airline will also continue cargo operations utilizing its B737-200(F) freighter that is currently based at Angeles City Clark International. Flights from Manila Ninoy Aquino International to Caticlan are to be introduced shortly as the first scheduled service with a Do328-100. It is to be recalled that SEAir International was spun off from South East Asian Airlines (Angeles City Clark International) in 2012 following the sale of 40% of South East Asian Airlines to Tiger Airways (Singapore Changi).
